Jon Adams brings over 25 years of experience in communications systems engineering and leadership within standards organizations and industry alliances. He is currently the Continua Health Alliance's technical working group chair. and is active in the Arizona Telemedicine Council and the Arizona Technology Council. He is on the board of directors of the IEEE Industry Standards and Technology Organization (IEEE-ISTO), which promotes the development of industry standards through collaborative efforts, and holds a board seat on the Arizona Telecommunications and Information Council (ATIC), a policy organization which advises the Governor's office on matters including statewide telehealth deployment. Previously, Jon was at the NASA/Jet Propulsion Laboratory, where his last project was managing the development of the Mars Network to link Mars missions back to Earth. Jon holds BSE and MSEE degrees from UCLA, and is a senior member of IEEE and member of both the American Telemedicine Association (ATA) and the Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS).
