Board of Directors

The IEEE-ISTO Board of Directors oversees the financial operations of the organization. In this capacity, the Board approves the IEEE-ISTO Business Plan and related outputs. Directors also serve to promote the benefits of industry and government organizations partnering with IEEE-ISTO. The IEEE-ISTO Board of Directors is comprised of industry professionals who serve two year terms. Director candidates are nominated through a formal process via a nominations committee of program peers. Once nominated, a ballot is distributed annually to all board members of active IEEE-ISTO Programs to elect new and/or returning Directors to the IEEE-ISTO Board. The ballot group consists of all current board members of IEEE-ISTO Programs. In this way, members of the IEEE-ISTO Federation, are empowered to help guide the future direction of the organization.

Don Wright has over 30 years of experience in engineering, marketing, software and standards development.  He is currently the Director of Standards for Lexmark International, one of the leading developers of printing technology and products.

Marco W. Migliaro

President and CEO, IEEE-ISTO

Marco W. Migliaro is one of the world's foremost authorities on the design, installation, operation, maintenance and testing of stationary battery and dc systems. He is an electrical engineer with more than 40 years of experience in the design of electrical auxiliary systems for power generating stations and industrial facilities and is licensed as a professional engineer in five states in the United States.

Jon Adams

Jon Adams brings over 25 years of experience in communications systems engineering and leadership within standards organizations and industry alliances. He is currently the Continua Health Alliance's technical working group chair and is active in the Arizona Telemedicine Council and the Arizona Technology Council.

Gerald Lane

IEEE-ISTO Director, Gerald Lane is Director of Standards and Open Source for the IBM Corporation.

In this role, Gerry oversees and coordinates IBM’s internal and external standards programs, including intellectual property commitments, legal issues, and policy negotiations with a multitude of standards, consortia and special interest groups. He also coordinates groups of skilled technical and legal professionals who advise the corporation on open source technology, issues and trends.

Robert Mandeville

Robert Mandeville, founder and president of Iometrix, the networking industry's preeminent testing authority, has dedicated his career to providing globally recognized and trusted certification tests to the fast growing networking industry. Iometrix is the official certification test laboratory of the Metro Ethernet Forum (MEF), the MultiService Forum (MSF) and the Broadband Forum (BBF) and is actively engaged in the forthcoming IEEE ICAP 1588 Certification Program.

Roger Martin

Roger Martin currently is an independent consultant on a wide range of technology standards issues.

Previously he was the Director of Technology Standards Office at AOL. Prior to joining AOL in September 2002, he was the manager of Corporate Standards Strategy for Sun Microsystems for the previous 6 years.

Yatin Trivedi

IEEE-ISTO Director, Director of Standards and Interoperability Programs at Synopsys

Yatin Trivedi is Director of Standards and Interoperability Programs at Synopsys. He represents Synopsys on the Standards Education Committee (SEC) of the IEEE-SA, the Board of Directors of IEEE-ISTO and the Board of Directors of Accellera. He represents Synopsys on several standards committees and manages interoperability initiatives under corporate strategic marketing group. He also works closely with Synopsys University program.
