Piscataway, NJ 7 June 2010 – IEEE Industry Standards and Technology Organization (IEEE-ISTO), the premier trusted partner of the global technology community for the development, adoption, and certification of industry standards, has entered into a partnership with Synopsys to form a technical advisory board to facilitate the evolution of Synopsys’ Interconnect Technology Format (ITF) into an industry standard format for interconnect parasitic modeling.

Piscataway, NJ 22 February 2010 – At its annual face-to-face Board of Directors meeting, the IEEE Industry Standards and Technology Organization (IEEE-ISTO) announced the re-election of two of its Directors.  Roger Martin, (interim) executive director, Kantara Initiative, and Don Wright, director of standards, Lexmark International, were both re-elected and have agreed to serve another two-year term.

Piscataway, NJ, 15 October 2009 — The IEEE Conformity Assessment Program (ICAP) and the University of New Hampshire InterOperability Laboratory (UNH-IOL) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to collaborate on conformity assessment initiatives and activities associated with IEEE standards. Under the MoU, ICAP and UNH-IOL will exchange information on the application of testing and conformance programs to selected standards, and pursue program development that will enable new technology adoption.

June 2009 Conference Schedule Unveils Line-up of Industry Experts

Piscataway, NJ, 23 April 2009 — The IEEE Industry Standards and Technology Organization (ISTO) announced today it will be hosting the first annual IEEE Conference on Product Certification and Conformity Assessment. The conference will take place 1-2 June 2009, at the IEEE Conference Center, located at its Piscataway, New Jersey Operations Center.
